“It’s great having the garden there on the doorstep. It keeps me active. The girls are great for having things always going on, whether that’s an outing or just doing some art or bingo and that.”

Thomas, Clearbrook resident
We believe that activities are a vital part of the service we provide
and are central to giving our residents a focal point in the day and
generating a positive, feel-good atmosphere in our home.

"There really is something for everyone, to add purpose and a focal point to their day."

We have a really wide range of activities that are centred on both group and one-to-one so that our residents get the most out of their days. From group excursions to visiting entertainers to one-on-one chess games to specialised activities for Alzheimer’s and Dementia, there really is something for everyone to add purpose and a focal point to their day.

"It is our policy to encourage all residents to join our activities, our activities are so varied, socially important and best of all good fun, we really do have something of interest for everyone."

We put a huge amount of thought into creating new activities that reflect what is going on outside - such as having our own 'Mini Olympics' while the real Olympics was on. We see it as a way to keep connected to the world beyond our doors.

“We actually have a good laugh. I enjoy getting out for my walks and taking part in the activities that are put on. I like that we have satellite TV here too, as I enjoy relaxing in my room as well.”
